Web Design & Development

I'm a stack-independent Front-End Web Designer/Developer with twenty years of professional experience and four startups under my belt (two exits), along with a lot of freelance experience. I've worked with Node/Express, LAMP, Windows/.NET, Rails/MySQL, proprietary web servers, and more.

I'm well-versed in Design, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, React.js, Angular.js, and much more. I make frequent efforts to educate myself on the latest and greatest techniques, tools, and frameworks. I'm also comfortable with back-end coding and basic database construction and management. I get along beautifully with programmers, producers, and executives, and enjoy managing teams.

Currently I'm running my own startup company, CloseBrace.

Employment History

CloseBrace (November 2016 - Present)

Founder, Writer, Developer

CloseBrace is a tutorial and resource website for JavaScript developers. It's just me, for now. From server and database administration, to back-end code, to front-end, to design, to writing the tutorials, scripting the videos, recording the videos, and editing the videos, I'm handling all of it. It's a lot of work, but a lot of fun, and it's great to both be in charge of my own business, and giving something back to the community!
